 EFFCO, incorporated in 1985 in the state of Maryland, has flourished since its inception specializing in the construction of luxury custom homes in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Virginia. Our first project was a joint venture with a banking group completing the Woodrock townhome project in Potomac, Maryland. These thirty town homes were left uncompleted by a now defunct builder and our company in association with our joint venture partner undertook this financial mismanagement and turned it around in less than a years time.
JEFFCO exclusively builds custom homes with a highlight on extraordinary upscale properties. Our customer base is highly educated and sophisticated which makes for interesting relationships. Our business is additionally supplemented with remodeling projects with no limit on size or scope of work. We have a growing list of satisfied clientele in both the custom home market and remodeling venues. Our firm has been listed in the top 500 remodelers over recent years based on volume as well as being published in numerous national building publications for our success in the custom home market.
JEFFCO has been awarded both local and national custom home awards and commendations for recently completed projects. We are active in the local Suburban Maryland Building Industry Association and chaired the Custom Builders Councils from 1996 through 1999. We are involved in the National Association of Home Builders as a member of the luxury home builder leaders.
