JEFFCO Named to 2001
Qualified Remodeler Top 500

August 17, 2001 (Fort Atkinson, WI) - JEFFCO has been named to the 2001 Top 500 by Qualified Remodeler magazine. The annual list is published to recognize remodeling firms for outstanding success in terms of annual sales volume for the previous year, number of years in business and services provided. Data for firms listed on the Qualified Remodeler Top 500 is provided by companies and verified by accounting firms, certified public accountants, banks and suppliers.

JEFFCO was ranked 169 on the QR 2001 Top 500. Founded in 1985, JEFFCO specializes in the construction of up scale custom homes and remodeling activity with no limit on size or scope of work in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Virginia.

The 24th annual Top 500 will be published in the September 2001 issue of Qualified Remodeler, and on the magazine's website: www.qrmagazine.com.

Combined sales volume of the Top 500 companies for 2001 totaled $2.6 billion. "The 2001 Top 500 is a record volume for the Top 500," says Roger Stanley, editor-in-chief. "The increase indicates that top remodeling firms are continuing to use new and more sophisticated business practices to expand sales volume."

Founded in 1975, Qualified Remodeler was the first magazine published to serve the remodeling industry. Cygnus Business Media, a CommerceConnect company, publishes the magazine, which serves more than 84,000 remodeling firms.
